Dear members and colleagues, welcome to the first ever application to the Team of ELSA Croatia for the term 23/24! The National Board invites you all to work with us on the projects of ELSA Croatia. BEE – Board Management, External Relations & Expansion

With the broad task of supervising and managing all aspects of work in the Association, the President’s area requires responsible handling. BEE is always working to support the work of all other areas and secure continuous strategic progress of the Association.

Description:
  • Assisting the President and Local groups in developing a Partner strategy
  • Researching potential partners
  • Managing partner database
  • Contacting partners
  • Assisting the President in partner talks, meetings
  • Making notes of partner talks and deals
  • Coordinating Local groups in partner approach
  • Gathering partners for all projects and in general
  • Working with every project, Local or National, to help them develop a partner structure
  • Participate in and hold calls and workshops
Requirements:
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Effectiveness in presenting yourself and the Association
  • Patience and thoroughness in work
  • Ability to delegate tasks
  • Ability to adapt quickly
  • Ability to work in several different teams, several different projects, simultaneously
  • (Bonus - experience in external relations - in ELSA or elsewhere)

IM – Internal Management

The area of Internal Management makes the primary infrastructure upon which all the Association’s activities can be organized. It ensures proper communication, information management, takes care of documentation and databases. It is also in charge of organizing Internal meetings.

  • Collecting up to date information about members of Local groups
  • Collecting information about administrative problems that Local groups are facing
  • Taking messages and handling correspondence via e-mail

  • Cooperation with Secretary General in the organisation of ELSA Croatia Internal Meetings such as National Council Meeting, Officers Meeeting and other internal events

FM – Financial Management

Financial Management is a sector of ELSA which deals with the financial sides of Organization, precisely budgeting, accounting, closing sponsor deals and much more.

Description:
  • Assisting the Treasurer in the daily operations of the Association
  • Participating in the preparation and conduct of meetings and workshops
  • Collaborating in the creation of Excel templates
  • Collecting data from companies for potential business endeavors
  • Communication and collaboration with the Association's accounting department

  • Responsibility and discretion when dealing with financial matters

MKT – Marketing

Area of Marketing is responsible for presenting the Association and our work to the public in an appealing and attractive manner.

Description:
  • Assisting the VP in Charge of Marketing and the President in creating an appealing image of the Association
  • Taking care of our brand image in all National and Local publications
  • Ensuring adherance at all times to the ELSA Brand Book
  • Going through ALL publications before they go out
  • Taking care of the brand image of our Partners

AA – Academic Activities

Academic Activities are primarily focused on organizing several projects whose purpose is contributing to legal and academic education and social responsibility, such as Rule Of Law Education, Annual Human Rights Campaign and International Focus Programme.

  • Communication with all ROLE participants and contributors

Competitions as a sector focuses on the organisation and participation in legal academic competitions which our network has to offer,such as WiCa, ELSA Moot Court competitions and ENC.

S&C – Seminars & Conferences

This year, S&C ELSA Croatia will focus on spreading ELSA knowledge among all S&C officers in the network. We will support local groups in the organization of projects and take care that they respect the rules and instructions of ELSA International during the organization. In addition, the plan is to organize a Study Visit and the first International Conference of ELSA in Croatia.

  • Helps the vice-president for S&C with the preparation of meetings with local vice-presidents
  • Preparation of workshops for Officers 'meetings and NCM
  • Deal with the analysis and evaluation of projects in the network
